Geisel Library @ UCSD in HDR

This is my first attempt at HDR photography and what best to have as my subject than UCSD’s very own Geisel Library. I was fiddling with a program called Photomatix which is specifically for HDR and I’m still trying to decide if I should buy it, hence the watermarks. Also if you would like to see more HDR photography I really recommend checking out Miroslav Petrasko’s blog http://hdrshooter.wordpress.com/.

  1. Hi 🙂
very nice HDR’s for your first attempt, the blue sky with the almost red lights works really well.
And thank you very much for recommending my blog 🙂

Hey! Nice job on the photos, maybe a bit more background exposure next time around? What program are you using to merge your pictures together?

  4. Thank you everyone!
Winny, I used a free trial of Photomatix (http://www.hdrsoft.com/). It’s pretty cool because the free trial never expires, but then you have the watermark on all the pictures. Though for some reason the first photo didn’t get a watermark even though I used the program. The last photo is not HDR.
